We are proud that our County’s population is one of the most educated in the entire United States, with nearly 90% having completed high school and over 40% holding a bachelor’s degree or higher.
At the foundation of our community’s education population is its public school system, consistently ranked among the best in the country. In fact, according to the 2011 “High School Challenge” listing published by The Washington Post, five of the top 100 U.S. public high schools are located in Nassau County. Additionally, two school districts made Forbes’ 2011 “America’s Best School Districts For Your Housing Buck.”
